Our mission has always been to keep up to offer real world methodologies to the latest technology shifts. We're proud to offer Real World Protection Certification on Windows 11, with dedicated consumer and enterprise testing programmes—now ARM-native ready.

Home users versus Enterprise use
The needs of home consumers are different to those of businesses. While there is some cross-over in the threats that they are subjected to, a good test should differentiate in the infrastructure and the threats used.
Our corpus is made of Public Threats that can be aimed at anyone and tailored Targeted Attacks that are tailored for the type of product under test. In a consumer test the most likely goal of a threat is compromising the initial target whereas in an enterprise environment lateral movement to pivot to more valuable assets is more common pathway to success. As such the rating system also adapts to reflect this.
Ratings & Remediation
The products are given the chance to protect through the whole chain of attack. In best case scenarios no malicious code is written on the Endpoint Under Test (EUT), however depending on how the product is designed or the threat itself it may be necessary to implement remediation later in the attack chain. This is measured through our Cleaned Rating. If you care only about protection no matter at which point in attack chain it occurs look for Disrupted or Prevented outcomes. You can read more about our full range of Ratings in our methodologies.
Windows 11 & ARM-ready
All of our EUTs are running Windows 11 on x64 platforms. Upon request we can perform this test on physical Windows on ARM devices. As these devices are gaining more popularity in the consumer market due to their prolonged battery life and AI Driven applications the market share still points to x64 architecture having the overall dominance here.
